Hi Gregory Grizutin,
I understand that your PC is connected to the Internet and you were even able to reset your Microsoft account password from the sign-in screen, but Windows still reports that the device is offline and will not accept your password.
First, I need to confirm a few details:
- Are you signing in with a Microsoft account (Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, Live.com, etc.) or a local Windows account?
- Did this issue start after you changed or reset your Microsoft account password?
- What is the exact message shown on the sign-in screen?
In the meantime, if this is a Microsoft account sign-in issue, please try these steps:
- On the sign-in screen, click the network icon in the lower-right corner and verify that the PC is connected to Wi‑Fi or Ethernet.
- Restart the PC normally (not into Safe Mode) and try signing in using your full Microsoft account password.
- If you recently changed your Microsoft account password, try entering the previous password that was last used successfully on this PC, if you remember it.
- If available, boot into "Safe Mode with Networking" and attempt to sign in using the password rather than a PIN.
