How to delete bad favorites automatically

Hello Frank Capozzi,

There isn't really an automatic way for Edge to clean up favorites on its own, but you can delete them in bulk instead of clicking one at a time.

• Open a new tab and go to edge://favorites/
• Click any one favorite, then press Ctrl+A to select them all
• Press Delete (or right-click and choose Delete)

If the ones you want gone are grouped in a folder, you can right-click the folder in the left pane and delete the whole folder at once.

And if you'd rather start completely fresh, you can close Edge and delete the Bookmarks file in your profile folder, which wipes them all:

• Close Edge fully
• Press Windows + R, paste %localappdata%\Microsoft\Edge\UserData\Default, and hit Enter
• Find the file named Bookmarks (no extension), and the backup Bookmarks.bak next to it
• Delete both, then reopen Edge — your favorites will be gone
