Certificates are not issued for completing Microsoft Learn modules or learning paths.
On Microsoft Learn:
- Completing modules and learning paths earns badges and trophies shown under your Achievements.
- A Microsoft Certification is only earned by passing a certification exam (for example, AZ-900). Completing Learn content alone does not create a certification.
To see what you have earned:
- Sign in to Microsoft Learn.
- Go to your profile Achievements page:
https://learn.microsoft.com/users/me/achievements. - View your badges and trophies for completed modules and learning paths.
If you attend an instructor-led course and your instructor gives you an achievement code, you can redeem that code to claim a course completion badge. That still appears as a badge, not a certification.
To get a certificate (Microsoft Certification), register for and pass the corresponding certification exam. After passing, the certification and downloadable certificate will appear under the Credentials → Certifications section of your Microsoft Learn profile.
