Dear Microsoft 365 Developer Program Support,

I am writing to request assistance with my Microsoft 365 Developer Program account.

My Microsoft account email is: <PII removed>@gmail.com

I was previously eligible for the Microsoft 365 Developer Program. While trying to resolve an authentication issue, I mistakenly deleted my Developer Profile, assuming I would be able to create it again.

Unfortunately, after deleting the profile, I am no longer able to re-enroll or recreate my Developer Profile. I would appreciate it if you could restore or reset my Developer Profile, or advise me on how to regain access to the program.

If you need any additional information to verify my account, I would be happy to provide it.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Kind regards,

<PII removed>

Hi @Phạm Tiến Dũng

Please note that our forum is a public platform, and we will modify your question to hide your personal information in the description. Kindly ensure that you hide any personal or organizational information the next time you post an error or other details to protect personal data.

Thank you for providing the details.

To clarify, this is a user-to-user community forum. Moderators and contributors do not have access to Developer Program subscriptions, tenant data, or account recovery systems.

As documented in Microsoft 365 Developer Program FAQ, deleting a Developer Program profile erases the profile information and any data stored in the developer subscription that is not backed up elsewhere. And if a Developer Program account is deleted, a new subscription can only be obtained after the existing subscription has been held for more than 60 days. This behavior is by design. Because of this, neither forum moderators nor community contributors can restore a deleted Developer Program profile, reactivate the associated subscription, or bypass the 60-day waiting period.

If you would like the Microsoft 365 Developer Program team to review your situation, please contact Developer Program support through Contact Us - Developer Support. They can review your circumstances and advise whether any options are available. However, restoration of a deleted Developer Program membership or subscription is not guaranteed.

Please note that this is a paid support ticket, which means it requires an active support plan or a one-time support purchase. However, the benefit of using this channel is that your inquiry will be routed directly to the Microsoft Product Group responsible for the specific service or feature in question. This team includes engineers and developers who work on the product itself, so they are best positioned to provide accurate, in-depth, and authoritative answers especially for complex or edge-case scenarios that go beyond publicly available documentation or community knowledge.

For future reference, if the issue is loss of access to the Global Administrator account due to MFA or other authentication issues, the recommended approach is to continue working with Microsoft Support and the Data Protection team on account recovery rather than deleting the Developer Program profile. If phone support is difficult due to language barriers, some administrators use a separate Microsoft 365 trial tenant to access the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and submit a support request regarding the locked tenant when they cannot sign in to the affected tenant.

Reference: Single Global Administrator locked out of Microsoft 365 Developer E5 Sandbox after losing Microsoft…

I hope this helps clarify the situation.

Dear Microsoft 365 Developer Program Team,

I hope this email finds you well.

I am writing to respectfully request your assistance regarding my Microsoft 365 Developer Program membership.

My Microsoft account used to join the Microsoft 365 Developer Program is:

    <PII removed>@gmail.com

I was previously enrolled in the Microsoft 365 Developer Program and had an active Microsoft 365 E5 Developer subscription.

Unfortunately, I lost access to my Global Administrator account due to authentication issues. I could no longer complete the required authentication, including SMS verification, which prevented me from signing in to my Microsoft 365 tenant.

The Global Administrator account that I lost access to was:

    <PII removed>.onmicrosoft.com

    Tenant domain: <PII removed>.onmicrosoft.com

While my Microsoft 365 E5 Developer subscription was still active, I had completely lost access to the tenant that I owned.

I contacted Microsoft Support several times in an attempt to recover access. However, I was advised to contact support by phone. Due to the language barrier, I was unable to communicate effectively in English, so I could not complete the account recovery process.

After being unable to regain access, I mistakenly believed that deleting my Microsoft 365 Developer Program profile would allow me to start over and resolve the authentication problem. Based on that misunderstanding, I requested the deletion of my Developer Program profile.

I now realize that this was a mistake. I never intended to leave the Microsoft 365 Developer Program or permanently lose my membership. My only goal was to regain access to my developer environment.

I sincerely apologize for my misunderstanding and any inconvenience it may have caused.

If possible, I would be very grateful if you could kindly consider one of the following:

Restoring my Microsoft 365 Developer Program membership and my previous developer subscription, if recovery is still possible; or

Allowing me to provision a new Microsoft 365 E5 Developer subscription without waiting for the standard 60-day period.

I have been using the Microsoft 365 Developer Program for learning, development, and testing Microsoft technologies, and I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide.

I am happy to provide any additional information required to verify my ownership of the tenant or my Developer Program account.

Thank you very much for your time, understanding, and support. I sincerely appreciate your consideration and look forward to your response.

    Kind regards,
