Large Word document. When I press the Enter key it opens a web page rather than adding a paragraph.

I have a very big WORD document.

For some unknown reason, when I try to add another line - CR/LF - by pressing the "Return" key - anywhere in the document . . . what happens ???

"It" opens a WebSite !

Always the same one.

I have NEVER seen this before !

How did that happen ?

How do I stop this and get it back to "normal" ?

Which version of Word are you using? File > Account > About Word

How large is your document?

Ctrl K, then bottom right - "Remove"

Thanks for the follow-up. Ctrl+K displays the Hyperlink dialog box. Since removing the hyperlink fixed the problem, it seems that a large part of your document text (maybe all of it) was inside a hyperlink. Pressing Enter with the insertion point inside a hyperlink "follows" the link, that is, opens the link target, so the symptoms you described makes sense.
