How to re-sync iCloud email on Outlook after a password reset.

I recently had to change my iCloud account password, and once I did this, my Outlook quit working. I re-signed into the iCloud app on my windows PC, but Outlook still is not syncing. Going into the account settings, I clicked on server settings. There, I typed in the new password for my iCloud account and clicked next. The prompt is shows me says "Something went wrong and Outlook couldn't save your account settings. Please try again."

I have no idea what to do. Can someone help me please?

Hi!

You need to add the account again with the new password. Do this:

  1. Press Windows + R > Type control > Click View By > Large Icons > Search for Mail (Microsoft Outlook).
  2. Click Email Accounts > New > Enter your credentials.
  • If you can't log in, select "Manual setup or additional server types" and follow the instructions.

Some email providers require an application code instead of a password. If the problem persists, try generating an application code and using it in place of your password.
