Can't play multiplayer minecraft because xbox settings aren't letting me but me and my parent can't change the settings.

I can't play multiplayer minecraft because parental control restrictions but me and my mom in the xbox safety and windows safety app can't change the settings so I can only play by myself. It would be very nice if someone could tell me how to fix this issue.
