Can I use "Move Items/Copy Items" to move file to shortcut on Desktop?

I made a shortcut for a folder in Documents onto Desktop.

Could I, then, use "Move Items" or "Copy Items" in the ribbon to send or copy files to that shortcut?

I ask, because, when I try, I do not see the shortcut link in the box that opens.

F.Y.I. I'm using Win11 with some Win10 features (provided -- thank you, Lord -- by some kind open-source and freeware people). So, File Explorer looks a bit different from the Win11 standard. Just so no one's unduly confused.(Sorry, Microsoft is having trouble uploading or attaching images from my computer. JPG, GIF, PNG -- nothing's working. One loads; the others won't. No, they're not more than 3MB. So, . . . )

It is not possible to add that folder shortcut to the Move To dialog, however, if you right click the new shortcut you created on your Desktop and select 'Pin to Quick Access', that should appear on the left side of File Explorer for easy access.

Then you can either drag and drop files onto the Desktop shortcut or onto the Quick Access shortcut for that folder.

That problem with uploading images to posts on this forum is caused by an update to the forum this week and it has been reported to the forum owners, so hopefully that will be fixed soon.
