The sound is muffled when I'm using a web browser like Edge or Firefox, it sounds good when I'm using media player. It is only when using a web browser. What is wrong. It just started doing this. I never changed anything it just doesn't work right.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

    1

    Try turning off audio enhancements.

Click Windows + R, type mmsys.cpl, and click ok.

Right-click your default audio output driver in the Playback tab, and select Properties.

In the Advanced tab, uncheck the Enable Audio Enhancements checkbox.

    Click save.

Test the audio output in your web browser.

    2

    Reinstall the audio drivers -

    Open the Device Manager.

Expand the arrow next to Sound, Video, and game controllers.

Right-click your default audio output driver, Realtek (R), select Uninstall device, select 'Attempt to delete the driver software for this device check box' and then click Uninstall.

Once uninstalled, restart your computer and check the audio output through browswers.

Let me know if you still need more help.
