Hello, I'm contacting Microsoft because Epic Games Support advised me to reach out regarding an issue with Fortnite on my Windows PC. For the past several days, I've been receiving Error Code -93 whenever I try to join or create a party. I can still launch Fortnite and play matches normally, but none of the party features work. I've already tried multiple troubleshooting steps, including restarting my PC, reinstalling Fortnite, verifying the game files, clearing the cache, updating Windows and Fortnite, signing out and back into my Epic Games account, and testing a different internet connection, but the issue still persists. Epic Games Support believes the problem may be be related to Windows or another Microsoft component, so I'm hoping you can help identify the cause and resolve the issue.

    Hi,

The issue with error codes 91 and 93 usually isn't a Windows fault but rather bugs within Fortnite itself; an update in 2025 caused this problem for many users.

Some players managed to fix it by using Creative mode to join a party, then leaving and switching to Battle Royale mode.

In some cases, it was an account-related issue, so try testing with a different account and set your lobby to "Public" to see if that works.

    Thanks.
