Remote Help Unattended Access

Our team has several unmanaged digital sign PCs running Windows that occasionally freeze up at night when no one in the building. Does the Intune Remote Help application support unattended remote access so an IT admin can log in and reboot the machine without a user on the other end confirming the prompt? Anyone faced this problem before?

    Hi George Wilson,

Microsoft Intune Remote Help cannot be used on your digital signage PCs because the devices are unmanaged and lack the necessary management agent. To resolve the nighttime freezes using Microsoft tools, you must first enroll the PCs into Intune, which allows administrators to issue silent remote reboots from the admin center or utilize the premium Unattended Remote Help feature for Windows. If the machines must remain unmanaged, you will need to bypass Intune entirely and use a third-party Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tool.
