Dear Microsoft Certification Support Team,

I am writing to request assistance with merging my multiple Microsoft Certification IDs. According to Pearson, I have more than one ID, but I only remember one of them. For exam history and certification tracking purposes, I would like all my IDs to be combined under a single account.

Unfortunately, I do not recall the other IDs. I kindly request your help in locating them and merging all records into my primary account.

I am unable to schedule my any exam now. Please help!

Merging Microsoft Certification records and IDs is handled through Microsoft Learn profiles and official certification support; it cannot be done directly in Pearson or by self-service alone.

Use these steps as a path forward:

    1. Sign in to the correct Microsoft Learn profile
    2. Check and add all login accounts you use for exams
If exams were scheduled with different email accounts, they may be tied to different Learn profiles.
      1. In your Learn profile, select the profile icon (top-right) → Settings.
      2. Under Account Management, select Add login account.
      3. Sign in with another email account you may have used for certification exams.
      4. If that login is associated with a different Learn profile, this will trigger a profile merge.
        • All learning progress and certification data from that profile will be merged into the signed-in profile.
        • Merging cannot be undone.
        • After merging, all login accounts can still be used to sign in.
    3. Understand profile merge limits
      • Only one personal Microsoft account can be on a Learn profile.
      • Up to five work or school accounts can be added.
      • If adding another login would exceed the five work/school account limit, the merge is canceled and the limit must be resolved before trying again.
    4. If exams/certifications are still missing, contact Credentials Support
Because older MCP IDs and multiple certification IDs may need backend lookup and consolidation, open a support request:
      • Go to Credentials Support: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/support/help
      • Use the Microsoft Certifications and Microsoft Certification Exams support path.
      • Provide your Learn Username (found under Personal Info, username and URL in Learn profile settings) and any known certification ID, exam details, and email addresses used.
      • Ask them to locate all certification IDs associated with your details and consolidate them so that exam history and scheduling work correctly.
    5. If you cannot sign in or have account issues
      • For sign-in problems with Microsoft accounts, use the guidance under “I can’t sign in to my Microsoft account” and related support links in that article.
      • If Pearson has given you a case or ticket number related to scheduling or cancellations, follow up directly with Pearson VUE support for exam appointment issues.

Once Learn profiles and login accounts are correctly merged and support has aligned your certification IDs, exam scheduling should work again under the single, consolidated Learn profile.
