How to install Outlook 2007 on my new laptop without buying Office 365 or replacing Office2007 (which is working fine with Windows 11?)

However, doing this opens up 'new' Outlook (part of Office365) which requires a subscription in order to import my old data files (.pst). Alternatively, I end up having to create an online Outlook account, with a new email address (@outlook.com).

Neither of these options is what I wish to do! I currently have a Gmail email account which is sync'd to my Outlook on my laptop, where all my emails, contacts and calendars, etc are ultimately stored. As far as possible I avoid using any AI or 'Cloud' services and certainly do not wish to start paying for software on subscription!

Can anyone advise me how I can set up my emails on my new Dell (Windows11) laptop just as they are on my old one (also Dell, Windows 10).

I have copied the data files and any other system folders&files across that I can find, to the new laptop, but how do I install the Outlook 2007 program? I have succeeded in installing my Office Home and Student 2007 package on my new laptop (using the original DVD and Product Key) but it does not include the Outlook software. I think that was originally part of an MS Enterprise package, but the disk and docs for that have been lost. I am reluctant to uninstall Outlook 2007 from my old laptop until I know it is up and running on the new laptop.

Correct. Only Office Home & Business 2007 included Outlook.

You may be out of luck. As far as I know, you need the original Outlook 2007 install media and product key to install on a new PC.

You can still buy Stand Alone Perpetual License Office and Outlook. There are a couple of options:

Office Home & Business 2024

Standalone Outlook 2024 (Not sure if this will play nice with your Office 2007 installed at the same time)

You can also get older versions of Office (2021, 2019) pretty cheap. Out of support, but as a 2007 user that is something you are used to. Just be sure you get the version that includes Classic Outlook and buy from a reputable seller.

Thank you Hornblower, that's most helpful. I have just found my original Office Enterprise 2007 DVD and product key (it was in our attic!!!) so I'll try to install Outlook from that first. Fingers crossed!
