I can't add a Teams link to meeting invites in Outlook 3.0

When sending a meeting invite, there is no option to add a Teams link, which effectively prevents me from setting up calls with my colleagues. I have tried to install Teams links as an add-in to my Outlook, but when I try to do this, I receive an error message stating that 'The end date you have selected is earlier than the start date'. There is no end or start date that I can see or edit. How can I add the option to send a Teams link to meeting invites?

    Dear @ch sai krishna reddy,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, the Teams Meeting option is missing from Outlook, and when attempting to install the Teams add-in, you receive the error message "The end date you have selected is earlier than the start date."

For better understanding your situation and can support you effectively, could you please confirm some more information as:

    • Which version of Outlook are you using (New Outlook, Classic Outlook...)?
    • Which type of account are you using (personal account or school/business account)?
    • Could you please check whether your device's date, time, and time zone are configured correctly and set to update automatically?
    • Can you sign in to the Microsoft Teams desktop app successfully using the same account?
    • If you are using the Teams desktop app, could you please try signing in to Teams on the web and check whether the issue persists there as well?
    • And also try to check whether the Time Zone and Language settings in your Teams app are configured correctly?

Please understand that the more information you provide, the more effectively I can support you.

    Looking forward to your update.
