Hello,

i tried the DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth in addition to sfc /scannow option (sfc says no error), but the progress slows down extremely at ~64% (which i´v heard is normal), but after 20 mins and progress up to 70% it canceled the operation and displays the error 0x800f0915.

I cannot atttach he dism.log bc its 13,5 MB big, but i screenshotted the (i think) relevant parts.

I´m on win 11 25H2 wih the security uppdate KB50914126 (2600.8655).

Thank you for the update. Since the component cleanup completed successfully but the repair command is still failing at 70%, it confirms that the corruption in your component repository is too deep for DISM to fix using the online servers.

Instead of trying more command-line repairs that might fail due to minor version mismatches, the most reliable and definitive solution at this point is an In-place Upgrade. This process will completely rebuild your system files and repair repository from scratch, while keeping all your personal files, settings, and installed applications completely safe.

(If you have a third-party antivirus installed, temporarily disable it during the entire procedure.)

1 = Download the ISO file to perform the procedure:

  1. Access the link below;

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11

  1. Under Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO) for x64 devices, click Select download and select Windows 11 (multi-edition ISO for x64 devices);
  2. Click Download;
  3. Choose the language and click on Confirm;
  4. Then, click 64-bit Download.
  5. Wait for the download to finish and proceed to the procedure below.

2 = After downloading the ISO, do the following:

  1. Double-click the ISO to run;

(After running the ISO, you may need to double-click the Setup file to start the procedure.)

  1. On the Install Windows 11 screen, uncheck I want to help make the installation of Windows better and select Change how Windows Setup downloads updates;
  2. On the next screen, select Not right now and click Next;
  3. Accept the terms of use;
  4. On the Ready to install screen, select Choose what to keep and select what you want to keep.

(It is in this step that you must check Keep personal files and apps so that all your data is kept.)

  1. Click on Install and wait for the procedure to finish. Your computer may restart several times.

If you get any errors, please let me know.

These four delta differential files are missing as per the CBS log:

As your system is already upto date, you can ignore the DISM error.

    Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    You can share the log file here using a cloud sharing service like OneDrive.

    In addition to the DISM log, please share the log file "CBS.log" stored in the following folder.

    C:\Windows\Logs\CBS

    Copy the files to your desktop or another easily accessible folder and store them in a ZIP file. Then, upload the ZIP file to the cloud (OneDrive) and generate a shareable link.

    Post the link to the ZIP file here so I can have a look.

    Looking forward to your reply.
