Hello, I’m Virginia a fellow Outlook user.

Have you tried deleting the account & adding it again?

Is the app/program running the latest version? How old is the app/program?

Is the Mac OS up to date/running the latest version? How old is the Mac?

Please check the suggestions here for that error message:

Check the webmail version of Outlook to see if anything is showing in the outbox which hasn’t synced to the app.

If clearing the cache doesn’t help then try checking the disk for errors or try uninstalling & reinstalling the Outlook app.

I would try adding the account to the default/inbuilt email app to see if the problem occurs there too, if an email shows then are you using any adblocker &/or VPN which may be interfering with sync?

    Hi Virginia,

Many thanks for the Message. I am running Outlook 16.110.2 on Tahoe 26.5.2 on a MacBook Air M1 2020.

I have checked the Webmail and Outlook and there are no unsent messages !!!Never had an issue before. I run Mail on both an iPhone & iPad with the same account and have no issues so guess it is an Outlook problem. Reluctant to delete and reinstall account as I do not want to lose any mails
