Managing meetings and events using Outlook on the web for business
Hi SARAH,
Thank you for reaching out and for explaining your scheduling workflow.
Since your scheduling coordinator is booking appointments on behalf of customers, the Bookings page admin can review and disable the Require a one-time password to create bookings setting from the Bookings page.
Please reach out to the Bookings page admin and provide with these steps:
- Open Microsoft Bookings and select the shared booking page.
- Select Settings from the left side.
- Open the Booking page section.
- Under Business page access control, clear Require a one time password to create bookings.
- Save the changes.
After this setting is disabled, customers should no longer need to retrieve and provide an email verification code before the appointment is created. The scheduling coordinator should be able to enter the customer’s information and create the booking more directly.
Please keep in mind that the one time password requirement adds an extra validation step, so disabling it should be reviewed based on your organization’s booking process and security requirements.
I hope this information is helpful. Please follow the steps above and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can continue working together to resolve the issue.
Should you have any questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out so I can continue to support you. If you found the response useful, please consider marking it as accepted, as this may help other community members who are looking for similar guidance.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. I look forward to continuing the conversation.
