My powerpoint is not showing pictures correctly on my macOS devices (iMac and MacBook Pro) I'm using powerpoint 365 version 16.110.1 (26062112) and the latest macOS.

Just updated from 16.108 to 16.110.2 and the Problem is gone.

Dear Matthias, this is not correct. I'm working on 16.110.2 and the problem did start with this update.

I have instead resolved this problem by deinstalling powerpoint 16.110.2 release and installing the older version 16.102.2 (25102623) and disabling the automatic update. Very frustrating but the only solution which does the job.

Unfortunately, PowerPoint for Mac does not have a Disable hardware graphics acceleration option on the Set Up Show dialog, it's only available in PowerPoint for Windows.

Try creating a new user account (System Settings>Users & Groups), signing in to that, then testing if the problem still exists. If it goes away, it's an issue with the user profile part of your Office installation.

If the issue still exists, or you'd rather not move your user data to a new profile, try uninstalling Office following these steps: Uninstall Office for Mac Then reinstall from the Subscriptions page of your Microsoft account

Posting a screen shot showing the effect you're seeing may give us more information about the problem..

Hi Sven, try turning off Hardware Graphics Acceleration (Slide Show tab → Set Up Slide Show) and re-inserting the images using Insert > Pictures instead of paste. This usually fixes display issues on macOS. —
