Browser preference in new Outlook

I am having difficulty finding the Link Handling or Browser Preference setting in the new Outlook. I do not want links from my email to open in Edge. Although Chrome is set as my default browser on my machine, it is clearly not the default browser for Outlook. When I go to Settings in Outlook, I do not have a General> File and browser preferences option.

You could further verify whether Google Chrome has been set as the default browser by going to:

Settings > Apps > Default apps > Google Chrome

In particular, please check whether the HTTPS protocol is assigned to Google Chrome, as shown below. User's image

I have tested this in my environment, and hyperlinks in New Outlook open successfully in Google Chrome when it is configured as the default browser.

Thank you for your help. Yes, although Google Chrome was configured as my default browser, I had somehow skipped right over the HTTPS protocol. In fact, it was the only one in the list that I missed, but it was still assigned to Edge, which of course was the behaviour I was seeing. Thank you for the reminder!
