I have not been able to sign-in to OneNote for weeks! I've tried re-installing the extension, deleting cookies, and other fixes suggested by AI. Still cannot login! The login hangs on the "Continue" screen below. This issue had occurred in the apst, Microsoft needs to fix this!

    Hello Bernie

Sorry to hear you’ve been stuck with this for weeks. I understand you have been unable to sign in to OneNote, and the sign-in process appears to get stuck on the Continue screen even after reinstalling the extension and clearing cookies.

Here are some additional suggestions you can try:

Please first try signing in directly at OneNote for the web or OneDrive with the same Microsoft account. If that works, open a new InPrivate/Incognito browser window, sign in there first, then try the OneNote Web Clipper again.

Also check that your browser is not blocking Microsoft sign-in cookies or pop-ups. If you use any ad blocker/privacy extension, temporarily disable it for Microsoft/OneNote pages and test again.

I also found some similar reports suggesting that OneNote Web Clipper sign-in may sometimes be affected by Microsoft account passwordless/passkey authentication. If your account uses passwordless sign-in or a passkey, you may try temporarily using another sign-in method, or check your Microsoft account security settings to see whether passwordless/passkey sign-in is involved. This is not a confirmed fix, but it may help narrow down whether the issue is related to the account authentication method rather than the browser or extension itself.

If the same issue happens after these steps, please post back here to let me know so I'll guide you to contact Microsoft Support so they can check the account authentication flow further for you.
