Microsoft certification download

Old MCP IDs and early-2000s MCSA/MCP records are no longer managed through the legacy Certification Dashboard and may not appear automatically in the current Microsoft Learn profile.

The supported path to recover or trace an old MCP ID and associated certifications is to contact Microsoft certification support so the accounts and historical records can be investigated and, where possible, linked to the current Learn profile.

Use the certification support channel:

1. Go to the certification support page:
   • Credentials support | Microsoft Learn
2. Submit a support request and include:
   • The old MCP ID number.
   • Full name as it appeared on the certifications.
   • Approximate dates and titles of the MCP/MCSA certifications.
   • Any old email addresses or account details that might have been associated.

Once support has located and, if possible, linked the historical records, certifications and transcripts can be accessed via the current Learn experience:

If the certifications are successfully surfaced, they can be viewed and printed to PDF (direct certificate file downloads are no longer supported; use the view/print/save-as-PDF flow described in the current credential sharing documentation).
