Family Safety Bug -- Blocking our kids from their mail app

We have recently opened individual e-mail addresses for our kids with outlook.com. It's [first].[last]@outlook.com, so we have a high interest that these accounts remain valid and operational, ideally for a lifetime.

However, when now attempting to connect them to the "mail" app on their iPhones, we get an error message that parental control is prohibiting this move, as we (it was the "recommended") option limited access to non-Microsoft app during the process of opening of their accounts.

So far, so good -- but when attempting to change parental control settings, we're trapped in a loop that already cost all of us hours...

We tried through [http://family.microsoft.com/] as well as https://account.live.com/mk

(obviously while logged in as the parent who had created the accounts originally and also granted/limited permissions initially)

but when accessing the "Manage permissions" site, it always shows the following error message:

"In the United States, South Korea, Brazil, and the EU, legislation requires that children have adult consent before creating an online account. You can use this page to manage the child accounts for which you provided consent. Learn more.To manage restrictions for your children, view your family settings."

But it is a loop, as in the family settings one can only navigate through again to permissions management per child, and then ends up on the same page.

We've tried it all, also after thorough consultation of language models and went through all the steps they recommended: incognito browser (same result), through the App (permissions management not possible, it refers to the website), attempting to delete kids from our family group and re-integrate them (not possible, as for the deletion from the group is also a permission level required the attempted granting of which leads into exactly the same loop).

This is EXTREMELY frustrating as we've done nothing but following the required/recommended steps. And now it seems our kids' e-mail addresses are actually lost, given they can't be used properly.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Currently, there appears to be an issue on Microsoft’s server side, where the option to manage consent for a child account does not load properly, and the page appears empty, as shown in the screenshot.

I have two organizer accounts with child accounts, and I am experiencing the same issue when trying to manage consent, even though I was the one who previously provided consent for those child accounts. This may be a backend issue, and it will likely be resolved within 24–48 hours, but it isn't guaranteed, as there is no official confirmation from Microsoft yet.

In the meantime, I recommend submitting your feedback directly to Microsoft developers from the Microsoft Family Safety homepage:
