Certificates are not issued for completing standard Microsoft Learn training modules or learning paths. Instead, module and path completion is recognized through achievements on the Microsoft Learn profile (badges and trophies), and formal certifications are only earned by passing Microsoft certification exams.
For professional development documentation, use the transcript and achievements available in Microsoft Learn:
- Go to the Microsoft Learn profile page: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/users/me/
- Select Transcript in the left column to view a record of completed training modules, learning paths, and credentials. This transcript can be printed or digitally shared.
- Select Achievements to see badges and trophies earned for module and learning path completion.
- If certification exams have been passed, select Credentials → Certifications to access official certificates and shareable badges.
- To generate a shareable transcript link or PDF for employers or PD records, follow the steps under Access transcripts in Learn:
- Open the Learn profile, choose Profile, then Transcript.
- Use Share link to create an online transcript URL, or Print → Save to PDF to download a copy.
If a formal Microsoft Certification is required for PD, plan to prepare for and pass the relevant certification exam; only exams generate official certification certificates.
