    Dear @Giovanni D'Saachs,

Microsoft Project does not need to be manually copied from the old computer. Instead, it should be reinstalled on the new laptop and activated using the same Microsoft account or product key that was used for the original purchase. It is confirmed that Project can be installed from the Microsoft 365 portal when signed in with the account associated with the Project license. Install Project | Microsoft Support

    Please follow the steps below:

1> Uninstall Microsoft Project from the old computer If your Microsoft Project license is a one-time purchase or single-device license, please remove Project from the previous computer first. This helps ensure the license is no longer being used on the old device before activating it on the new laptop.

2> Sign in on the new laptop Go to Microsoft 365 and sign in with the same Microsoft account that was used to purchase or activate Microsoft Project.

3> Find Microsoft Project in your account From the Microsoft 365 home page, select Install and more. If you have multiple Microsoft products, you may need to scroll through your owned products or check the Subscriptions section to locate Microsoft Project.

    4> Install Microsoft Project

Once you locate Microsoft Project, select Install and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

    5> Activate Microsoft Project

After installation, open Microsoft Project and sign in using the same Microsoft account. If you originally used a product key, make sure the product key was redeemed under the same account.

If you receive an activation message stating that the license is already in use or that the activation limit has been reached, please confirm that Microsoft Project has been removed from the old computer. You may then need to follow the activation prompts, including phone activation if that option appears. Activate Office after reinstalling or installing on a different device | Microsoft Support

I hope the information shared helps point you in the right direction. Please try the steps above and let me know if they work. If not, we can continue working together to narrow this down.

The first response may not always resolve the issue right away, but with your help and more details, we can work toward a solution.
