Hi Paula Baynum,
I understand how frustrating this must be, especially when multiple devices and settings appear to have changed after an update.
To narrow this down further, could you clarify:
- Is the printer connected by USB or Wi‑Fi?
- What is the printer brand/model?
- Did the browser change to Bing only, or were your Google account sign-in settings also changed?
- Do your phone and TV still connect to your home Wi‑Fi network normally?
In the meantime, if the problem started immediately after a recent Windows update, please try the following:
1, Check whether your printer is still detected by Windows.
- Open “Settings” > “Devices” > “Printers & scanners”.
- Confirm that your printer is listed and does not show as Offline.
- If it is listed, select it and try “Open queue” to see whether print jobs are stuck. Microsoft provides guidance here: Fix printer connection and printing problems in Windows
2, Run the Windows Update troubleshooter.
- Open “Settings” > “Update & Security” > “Troubleshoot” > “Additional troubleshooters”.
- Select “Windows Update” and choose “Run the troubleshooter”.
- Restart the PC after it completes.
3, If the issue began immediately after a specific update, check whether uninstalling that update resolves the problem.
- Open “Settings” > “Update & Security” > “Windows Update”.
- Select “View update history” > “Uninstall updates”.
- Review the most recently installed update. Microsoft documentation: How to uninstall a Windows Update
