please can anyone tell me how to get my classic calendar back???? i lost in a new one popped up which is AWFUL, and it's empty and doesn't scroll up or down. I spent over an hour working with the AI support, but, nothing helped.

And for two of them you "Accepted" the Answer provided but then left a comment that indicates that the problem was not solved?

1 -- Do you still have the problem?

2 -- Have you tried the suggestion from Alice-N in the Answer to another thread to "use the Help option in Outlook.com and contact Outlook.com support from there, as this may need account-side checking". Specifically this means:

Logon to https://outlook.live.com/

From the main menu: Help -> ? Help

{This should open the Help side panel}

Search Help -> {Your problem} and press Enter

Still need help? [Yes]

If you get "We're here to help": Tell us your problem -> {Your problem, again} [Get Help]

[Sign In] {Use any Outlook/Microsoft account}

Choose a support option -> Chat with a support agent in your web browser

Sorry, i guess i was desperate to get my OLD calendar back, that I just kept reaching out.

i honestly dislike this new one - it's AWFUL!!!!!! The first chance I get, I will follow what you sent me..

Hi Florence

I understand that you want to get the classic Outlook calendar back after Outlook opened the new calendar view, which is empty and not working properly. Could you reply with:

Do your calendar events still appear at https://outlook.live.com/calendar/?
Are you opening Outlook (classic) from the Windows Start menu, or are you opening the new Outlook app?
Is your calendar from Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, Gmail, iCloud, or another account?

Please try the steps below:

If you are currently using new Outlook, turn off the New Outlook toggle at the top-right of the Outlook window.
When prompted, choose Switch back to classic Outlook. If you only need classic Outlook once, choose Use classic Outlook this time instead.
If you do not see the toggle, try opening classic Outlook directly:
Select Start in Windows.
- Type Outlook.
- Open Outlook (classic), not the app marked New.
- If it opens correctly, right-click it and pin it to the taskbar so you do not accidentally open the new Outlook app again.
If Outlook (classic) is not listed, classic Outlook may not be installed on the PC. You can install or reinstall it from Microsoft’s official page: Install or reinstall classic Outlook on a Windows PC | Microsoft Support
After classic Outlook opens, go to Calendar, then select Home > Arrange and choose Month, Week, or Day to restore a normal calendar view. See: Change how you view your Outlook calendar | Microsoft Support

Hi Alice, thanks for the messages.. no i wasn't able to get my Classic calendar back.. sadly!! It would pop up for second while I was trying different things; but, never stayed!! this new one is AWFUL!!!! The first chance i get, I will follow what you sent me above and keep my fingers crossed. thanks again for your help!!

I’m sorry this is still happening, Florence. Please don’t worry about reaching out more than once.

When you try again, please make sure you choose Switch back to classic Outlook, not Use classic Outlook this time. If you do not see the toggle, classic Outlook may not be installed or may need to be opened separately as Outlook (classic). See: Install or reinstall classic Outlook on a Windows PC.

Please try that when you can and let me know whether classic Outlook stays open after restarting it. Have a nice day !
