I've noticed that my SL7 (certified refurbished) which I got around 2 weeks ago has this problem where the laptop when you press the power button if the battery is below a certain percentage (somewhere around 50-60 percent), the laptop won't turn on. If the laptop is above that certain percentage, it turns on normally. When the thing happens, I have to get the charging cable and plug it into the laptop, which the laptop then powers on normally (after that I can unplug the charger and it still works normally). Is this a cause for concern? I've read online that this is a problem where the laptop doesn't have enough inital power to boot up, but 50% isn't enough?

Boot into Surface UEFI: hold Volume Up, then press Power. When the Surface logo appears, release Volume Up. Once in UEFI, go to Boot Configuration > Advanced Options and look for "Enable Battery Limit" — make sure it's off.

If the toggle is missing, or if turning it off doesn't fix the boot-below-50% behavior → raise this with the seller/refurbisher immediately. A 2-week-old device with this behavior is not acceptable, refurbished or not. You should be pushing for a replacement, not a repair.
