MCP profiles and IDs have been retired and all certification data has been migrated into Microsoft Learn profiles.
To access and merge old certifications/transcripts into the Learn profile in use now, follow these steps:
- Sign in to the Learn profile using the same personal Microsoft account that was used for the old Certification/MCP profile:
- Go to the Learn profile sign-in page and use the account previously used for MCP.
- Once signed in, select Credentials → Certifications to see migrated certification data.
- If certifications are on a different Learn profile (for example, different email/account was used in the past), merge the profiles:
- Sign in to one of the Learn profiles.
- Go to Settings → Account Management → Add login account.
- Add the other login account that was used for MCP/certifications.
- If that login is associated with another Learn profile, this will trigger a profile merge.
- After the merge, all learning progress, credentials, and transcripts from both profiles are combined into a single Learn profile. This cannot be undone.
- To view and share the merged transcript:
- From the Learn profile, open Profile → Transcript to see all successfully completed certifications and modules.
- Use Share link to generate a public link, or use Print → Save to PDF to download a copy.
If certification data still does not appear after signing in with the correct account and merging profiles, contact Certification Support for assistance with recovery and verification.
