What is going on with Copilot stock ticker search results in Edge for Android?

When I use Bing search in Microsoft Edge on Android to search for stock information, I enter queries like "MSFT stock". It works. At the top of the results page Edge displays the "Copilot Search" entry which shows a "card" of sorts with the current stock price, a graph and some extra typical stock information.

Previously, when I clicked on that card it used to take me to the corresponding MSN Money page containing more extensive information about the stock. But now it tries to do that as well but fails. It shows a dummy page with "Whoops! This page doesn't exist or can't be found" text. It has been like that for a while now, a month or perhaps more.

Initially I thought of that as a temporary glitch. But it has been a while already. Is anyone looking into this issue?

The problem is not present in Edge desktop browser searches.

    The same issue can be reproduced on mobile MSN Money website directly. Just go to MSN Money, select search icon, enter stock ticker and select the proper entry from the list. It will then land on the same "Whoops!" page. So, Bing search is apparently working properly and the Copilot card is also generated and linked correctly. Is just that mobile version of MSN Money web site is incapable of processing its own individual stock ticker links anymore. Is anyone in the web site's support team aware of that?

    Thank you for reaching out. I understand you’re hoping to get attention from the MSN Money product team. 

    Since the same "Whoops" error also happens directly on the mobile MSN Money site, this does not look like a normal Edge cache/settings issue. It seems more likely that the mobile MSN Money stock-detail link is not resolving correctly.

    That said, the Microsoft Q&A forum is a community space where users help each other. So, we cannot check whether the MSN Money product team is already aware of it or make backend changes to the MSN site. They also do not review or respond to posts here.

    The best route is to send it through the product feedback channels with the exact ticker searched, the broken URL/page, your Android/Edge version, and a screenshot if possible.

    • In Edge for Android: open Edge > menu ... > Send feedback
    • On MSN: use the feedback button at the bottom-right of an MSN page

    You’re doing the right thing by sending the feedback to Microsoft. Hopefully, these channels will help make your voice heard.
