Issue with Copilot Notebook – Audio Generation Fails

Hi Microsoft Support,

I’m currently using Copilot in Microsoft 365 and using the Copilot Notebook feature. It allows you to add references and then generate either an audio file or a document.

When I select Generate Audio, it first says “Please wait 2 minutes”. User's image

However, after waiting much longer than 2 minutes, I only get the error message: “Something went wrong.” without any audio to download or listen to.

SO CURRENTLY THE FEATURE IS UNUSABLE EVEN THOUGH IT NOT IN PREVIEW. HOW TO FIX IT OR WHO I CONTACTED TO

I 100% share your same frustration - Ive done all the checks recommended on google, used the browser, used the app - all is updated and the notebook size is not massive - there is 4 references in. You can try whatever you want - this just not work. Strangely - it only started 2 days ago, 4 other exam subjects before this - it was working flawless!

I'm seeing this as well in a notebook that just has one 15-page document to create the audio overview for. Oddly, I can create the audio overview using the Copilot app on my iPhone. My only problem there is that it doesn't appear to save it anywhere, and I am unable to then retrieve or share it from the browser or app on my laptop.
