Gamepass not sharing despite following instructions

My younger brother has essential so to share it we set my xbox as his home xbox (me and my brother use two different Xboxs) but when i try to play multiplayer on Minecraft it wont allow me.

My dad also has essential so, at his house, i have set the xbox i use to his home xbox and it works just fine.
