Request to Merge Microsoft Certification IDs – Urgent

The two different Microsoft Certification IDs indicate that there are multiple Learn/Certification profiles. To align exam details and certifications, the profiles must be linked and merged; this cannot be done by forum responders and requires working with Microsoft Credentials Support.

Follow these steps:

1. Confirm which Learn profiles exist
   • Sign in to your Learn profile with each account that might have been used (for example, work/school and personal Gmail) and note which certifications/exams appear on each.
   • Use the guidance in Missing Exams or Certifications to ensure the correct login account is being used when checking your credentials: see the section “Confirm your login account” and try all accounts that may have been used to register the AI-102 exam.
2. Merge profiles (if both are Learn profiles you own)
   • If there are two Learn profiles under different login accounts, use the profile merge process described in the Learn FAQ:
     • Sign in to the profile that should become the primary one.
     • Go to login account management and choose “add login account”.
     • Add the other login account. If that account is associated with another Learn profile, this will trigger a merge.
     • After the merge, all learning progress, credentials, and transcripts from both profiles are combined into a single profile, and you can still sign in with all login accounts.
   • Be aware that merging cannot be undone and will be canceled if the combined profile exceeds the limit of five work or school login accounts.
3. If the merge cannot be completed or IDs still differ
   • For any remaining issues with multiple Certification IDs, or if the scheduled AI-102 exam does not appear correctly after following the above steps, contact Credentials Support so they can review and align the records:
     • Go to the Credentials support page and use the instructions under “How to contact support” to submit a support request for Microsoft Certifications and Microsoft Certification Exams.
   • Provide your Learn Username(s), both Certification IDs, and details of the scheduled AI-102 exam date so support can investigate before the exam date.

These steps ensure that multiple profiles and Certification IDs are consolidated and that exam appointments are associated with the correct Learn/Certification profile.
