Why I could not delete the countainer despite 730 days have been past ?

Hello Amir Yahav

Could you confirm whether you’re planning to delete just the containers or the entire storage account? Also, please check whether any policy is applied at the storage level.

If you want to delete your storage account, you can first move it to a Pay-As-You-Go subscription. Once the storage account is migrated, you may cancel that subscription, ensuring that the storage account will not incur any further charges

I will follow the steps you provide me.
I am currently deleing the deleted blob version .
Once this operation done , probably it takes few days, I will try to delete the blob container and let you know if it succeed.

I don't see the version:
Nothing here to change :
Delete option is dimmed.
How to remove locked ?

Please open a case since it's a complex problems that can't be resolved through the Q&A platform.
I prefer that someone will call me by teams.

Hi @Amir Yahav

first check below settings.

1.

Container → Settings → Versions

You must delete:

Blob versions

Snapshots

Soft-deleted blobs

Soft-deleted versions

2.

Storage Account → Data Protection

Blob soft delete

Version soft delete

3.

Container → Immutability → Legal Holds

If any exist, remove them.

4.

check Policy State: is Locked -if locked remove that.

check again Blob is immutable due to a policy.

5,

Blob versions exist? Any version blocks deletion

Snapshots exist? Snapshots are immutable too

Soft delete enabled? Soft-deleted blobs still count

Legal hold active? Blocks deletion even after retention

Policy still locked? Normal — deletion allowed only after cleanup
