Hi,

Today I opened Finder on my mac to share some files over OneDrive but suddenly the 'Copy Link' option is missing in the context menu.
Since we have a big team who uses this frequently, this small change has a big effect on our efficiency.
Is there a way to reverse this?

Kind regards!User's image

Hi @Benjamin

Based on the information you provided, I understand that you opened Finder on your Mac today and noticed that the "Copy Link" option has suddenly vanished from the OneDrive context menu when you right-click a file. Since your large team relies heavily on this feature for daily file sharing, this missing option is causing a major hit to your workflow and efficiency.

When testing on version 26.106.0603.0003, I experienced the exact same bug where the "Copy Link" option completely disappeared. However, after rolling back to an older version (26.045.0308.0003), the context menu immediately fixed itself, and the "Copy Link" button returned.

If you and your team are facing this same situation, you can temporarily resolve this by downgrading your OneDrive client using the following steps:

Please close OneDrive completely. Open Finder, go to your Applications folder, and drag the Microsoft OneDrive app icon to the Trash. Download the older, working version directly from this link:

https://oneclient.sfx.ms/Mac/Installers/26.045.0308.0003/universal/OneDrive.pkg

Open the downloaded .pkg file and follow the on-screen prompts to reinstall OneDrive > Launch OneDrive, sign in with your team credentials, and let it map to your existing folder. Once installed, try right-clicking a file in Finder to see if the "Copy Link" option has successfully reappeared for you.

Please give this a try and let me know if it brings the feature back for your team, or if you need any further assistance!
