To unblock a sender in Outlook on the web or Outlook.com:

  1. Sign in to Outlook on the web/Outlook.com.
  2. Select Settings (gear icon) at the top of the page.
  3. Select Mail > Junk email.
  4. Under Blocked senders (or Blocked senders and domains), find the email address or domain that was accidentally blocked.
  5. Select that address or domain, then select the delete/remove icon to unblock it.
  6. Select Save if prompted.

Future messages from that sender will no longer be automatically moved to the Junk Email folder.

    Hi MIHAIL DUTA

I understand how frustrating it can be when a sender is accidentally blocked and you stop receiving their emails.

Could you please confirm whether you tried the steps provided by Q&A Assist to remove the address from your blocked senders list?

If you followed those steps and the sender is still blocked, please let me know:

    • Are you using an Outlook.com account (for example, @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com, or @msn.com)?
    • Do you receive any error message when trying to remove the sender from the blocked list?
    • Is the sender blocked by a specific email address or by an entire domain (for example, @contoso.com)?

In the meantime, you can try the following steps in Outlook on the web:

1, Check whether there is an inbox rule affecting messages from that sender:

    • Go to Settings > Mail > Rules
    • Review any rules that may automatically delete, move, or redirect messages from that sender.

2, Verify that the sender's address or domain does not appear multiple times in Blocked senders and domains:

    • Go to Settings > Mail > Junk email
    • Remove every entry related to that sender, then save the changes.

3, Add the sender to your safe list:

    • Go to Settings > Mail > Junk email
    • Under Safe senders and domains, select Add and enter the sender's email address.

After that, ask the sender to send you a new test message, then check your Inbox, Junk Email, and Deleted Items folders.

Please feel free to share any updates at your convenience and thank you for your understanding.
