If the recipient is getting a different look when they read your document, the most likely cause is that you are using fonts not installed on their computer.

If this does not answer your question, please post a screen shot or two showing what you expect and what the emailed version looks like.

Hi Pauline,

To further check on this, do you have sample screenshot for reference?

In the meantime, one of the possible reasons why the distortion happens is how the recipient’s system opens it differently and formatting can shift if the recipient opens it in a different program (like Google Docs, Apple Pages, or even an older version of Word). The most reliable fix is to send the document as a PDF if you want the formatting to stay exactly the same.

    Actually ... my fault When I looked at the preview of the document I was sending it was distorted but the recipient said the document was fine
