Is AB-730 (AI Business Professional) an eligible prerequisite for AB-100 certification?

Hello Microsoft Team,

I am confused about the prerequisite requirements for the AB-100 certification (Microsoft Certified: Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect).

Some third-party certification websites state that AB-730 (AI Business Professional) or AB-731 (AI Transformation Leader) can be used as prerequisites for AB-100.

However, when I review the official Microsoft Learn certification page, I do not see AB-730 listed among the eligible prerequisite certifications.

Could you please confirm:

  1. Is AB-730 (AI Business Professional) currently an eligible prerequisite for AB-100?
  2. If not, which official Microsoft certifications are accepted as prerequisites for AB-100?

  1. No, and it will not be. They are wrong. Only Associate level certifications are used as prerequisites for expert level certifications
  2. See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/agentic-ai-business-solutions-architect/ for the list of qualifying certifications but expect this list to change a lot as some of these certifications are retiring/being replaced over the next few months.
