Removing Work Profile from Microsoft Edge

I can not remove an old work profile from my microsoft edge on my personal computer, I don't have access to it any longer. My companies IT department can't remove it either and directed me here.

I read previous messages regarding this and non of those trouble shooting tips worked for me.

    Hi!

    If the problem is critical, you can reinstall Edge this way to try and resolve it:

    1. Close Edge > Press Windows + R > Type %localappdata% > Click on the Microsoft folders > Edge > Rename the User Data folder to User Data_old.
    2. Download Microsoft Edge from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/download?form=MA13FJ > Install Edge > Restart your computer > Open it and see if the profile has disappeared.
