How come my contacts have disappeared on a group contact list? I can access the list but only if I choose the edit list option. I cannot select the list to email everyone on the list, but I can still edit the list. The list has not been deleted. How to fix? Thanks.

Does this describe your problem? If so, it is a known bug.

Can you get the List into the "To" field? If so, try clicking the "plus in a circle" next to the list name in the "To" line and expand the list. Any help?

    Hello jeff m

I understand how frustrating it can be when a contact list is still visible for editing but no longer appears when you try to address an email.

To help narrow this down further, could you please let me know:

    • Does the issue occur in multiple browsers, or only one?
    • Is this a personal Outlook.com account (@outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com, or @msn.com)?
    • Did the problem start recently, or after any specific change?

In the meantime, please try the following:

    1. Open Outlook.com and select “People”.
    2. Open the affected contact list and confirm that it still contains the expected members.
    3. Create a new email, then start typing the exact name of the contact list in the “To” field instead of selecting it from recent suggestions.
    4. If the list still does not appear, try signing in using an InPrivate/Incognito browser window and test again.

Looking forward to your updates so I can assist you further. Thanks for your understanding.
