Error message:

The resource name '/subscriptions/[SUBS_ID]/resourceGroups/[RG_NAME]/providers/Microsoft.CloudTest/hostedpools/[POOL_NAME]?api-version=2020-05-07' is not valid. Following characters and any control characters are not allowed for resource name '%,&,\,?,/'. (Code: InvalidResourceId) (Code: InvalidResourceId)

You should not pass the ?version=xxx in the tail of resource id when call this API?

You have decided to create new pair of resources are they are tied to another image resource and decided not to use Moving resources service.

Also, the resource you are using is a private type of resource not generally available in Azure Public marketplace.
