I have recently installed Office 2024 on my Mac. However it doesn't allow me to use the apps apart from in view only mode

Hello,

Where did you get this Office 2024 license? What's the exact full name, for example, Office 2024 Home, Office 2024 LSTC, Pro Plus, Standard??

Did you get this when you open the app, or when you tried to open a file shared with you by others?

    It is Office 2024 Home and was purchased when I purchased the laptop from Apple.

    i have now solved the issue it seems Microsoft product requires a turn off and on post installation to work. I got this from another question which had same issue.
