Hi Mohammad Ahmad,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience caused by the long Windows Update process.
Windows Update involves multiple stages (downloading, preparing, installing, and configuring updates), and each stage can take time depending on several factors. These include the size and complexity of the update, the speed and stability of your internet connection, and your device's hardware performance (CPU, RAM, and disk speed).
In addition, modern updates may perform extra checks and background operations, such as verifying system integrity or retrying certain steps automatically, to improve reliability and ensure updates install correctly. This can sometimes make the process appear slower, even though it helps prevent failures or the need to reinstall updates later.
Please try performing an In-place upgrade to repair your system:
Disclaimer: Let’s try performing an in-place install or in-place upgrade which will refresh your Windows files and operating system without removing files or applications. That being said, we always recommend that if you have important data, you should back it up before making large system changes. If you want to back up your data first, please do so. Once you are done backing up, you can follow the steps in the following guides: How to perform an In-place Upgrade with Windows 10 Step-by-Step Guide - Microsoft Community
After doing so, your system will get 22H2 without recent updates. You may try running Windows Update again or pause Windows Update for a period of time.
If you have further information, please feel free to let me know.
