Using older versions of Outlook for Mac in business environments
Hi @Troy Connor
Thank you for reaching out.
Based on your description, the issue may be caused by a corrupted local profile, cache, or leftover files. To troubleshoot it, you could try to follow these steps:
Close all your Microsoft Office applications completely.
Reset Outlook containers and preferences:
Open Finder. Press Command + Shift + G and go to: ~/Library/Containers/ > Move the entire folder com.microsoft.Outlook to the Trash (or Desktop as backup).
Then, go back and press Command + Shift + G again, then go to: ~/Library/Group Containers/ > Move these folders to the Trash (or Desktop): UBF8T346G9.Office and UBF8T346G9.ms
Clear preference files:
Press Command + Shift + G and go to: ~/Library/Preferences/
Find and move these files to the Trash (or Desktop): com.microsoft.Outlook.plist
Any other files starting with com.microsoft.Office* or com.microsoft.Outlook*
Empty the Trash, then restart your Mac.
If the issue persists, try holding Shift while opening Outlook to start it in safe mode.
You could give it a try and let me know if this helps.
