How to fix section/page title truncation problem (MAC)

I never had this problem until last year. The section and page titles stay truncated, no matter how wide I make the column. Therefore, I don't know what I'm accessing and can't find anything without a Search. I've read others have the same problem for almost a year, but why is there no fix. This is extremely devastating for someone like me running a business who lives in OneNote with all my information.

I spent two hours in chat today and still no help. I've reported it three to four times since last December. No response. If I don't get this fixed, I will have to find another Note-taking app. There is no substitute for OneNote, so I really want to get it fixed. Please prioritize this problem. Thank you.

    Hello Judithpm

Thank you for reporting this issue to the Q&A forum and I know how inconvenient this behavior can be.

From what you described, I understand that in OneNote for Mac, the section and page titles stay truncated even after widening the navigation pane, making it difficult to identify and access your notes.

So far, there does not seem to be an official fix for this behavior. As a temporary workaround, please try selecting another section or notebook, then switching back to the affected one. In some cases, this can force OneNote to refresh the navigation pane and show the full titles again.

If the issue continues, you may want to use OneNote for the web temporarily so you can access your notes more easily while the Mac app is affected.

Hope this helps a bit. Thank you so much for your patience!

    Best regards.
