headset reacting to sound

i recently got a new (old) laptop and suddenly my headset goes louder for a few seconds if there is sound around me. any idea where this might come from?
i really dislike it, i just want my headset to give a stable sound output that doesn't fluctuate

Hi chris de bruin,

This is not a Windows problem, but a feature of the Razer Kraken v4.

You may try to switch Kraken in-memory profile, or modify Kraken features to better suite your needs. To do this, you need to install Razer Synapse.

    Soo. I installed razer synaps.faught the program for an hour to log in and connect my headset and it's gone now. Didn't change anything.
