Hi,

I am an administrator for Viva Engage - [Moderator note: personal info removed]. However, I was only able to respond to a post one time, several days ago, and nothing has gone through since. I also noticed that no one else is responding and think they may be having the same issue. Someone just told me that they can't put a new post up. Please respond ASAP as this is a new inititative for our Safety coaches. Thank you!

    Hi @Mammone, Alison T

First, I'd like to clarify that we're not Microsoft support, this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators have no backend access and cannot directly intervene in Microsoft products. We provide only technical guidance and best-practice recommendations based on reported issues.

I have tested on my Viva community, and it works normally. I can respond/comment on the post more than once and users are able to add new posts.

May I ask does this happen to all of your communities or just this specific one?

You mentioned a single user cannot post, can that user comment in a post? When the user tried to post, does it show any error, or it doesn't have a place for a user to post?

If the user can comment but cannot post, check the settings of the community. Make sure Posting permission is set to Open.

Can you also try creating a new testing community to help narrow down the issue? Check if you also have the similar behaviors in this new community.

I look forward for your reply.

    Hi,

Thanks for your response. However, it seems that still no one can post or respond except the creator of the group. However, even she was not able to yesterday. I looked at all of your settings, and mine do not look like yours, as it is much abbreviated - as noted in the image below. Also, I don't remember where to find configurations. I found it once, earlier, but can't remember where. I could see that anyone can join in our organization, but I don't have a dropdown for "Open". Multiple people have tried to respond or post, and still no one can. My supervisor, creator of the group, has placed a ticket with our IT department for further follow up.

    Thanks
