In my search engine I can no longer see the option to search with images. Both for microsoft and google?

Are you using your Mobile web browser (on your phone) or on your Computer?

If on a computer, which browser are you using- Google Chrome or Microsoft EDGE? You did mention trying it on Microsoft and Google- do you mean the browsers, Edge and Chrome?

If you go to Google.com on edge/ chrome, do you not see the image icon? (See the screenshot)

Have you tried in other webbrowser- you did mention that you have tried it in both Microsoft and Google- do you mean the web browsers Edge and Chrome?

In Microsoft Edge on Windows, the “search the web for image” option in the right‑click context menu is controlled by the SearchForImageEnabled policy.

If this policy is disabled, the option to search with an image disappears from the context menu. If it is enabled or not configured, the option is visible.

To restore image search in Edge (for example, when managed by an organization):

Ensure Edge is version 115 or later on Windows.
In your management method (such as Group Policy or registry), set the policy:
- Group Policy path: Administrative Templates/Microsoft Edge → Search for image enabled → set to Enabled (or Not configured).
- Registry (Windows): under SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge, set SearchForImageEnabled (REG_DWORD) to 1.
Edge supports dynamic policy refresh, so the change should apply without reinstalling; restart Edge if needed.

Note that this policy only affects Microsoft Edge’s built‑in image search menu item. It does not control Google’s own image search UI, which is managed by Google’s services and settings.
