Where do I go in settings on roblox to find how to join multiplayer games.

I can't find where to go to privacy in settings on roblox, I have just set myself up and am not allowed to play multiplayer games because my settings prevent me to do so. Yet when I try to go to privacy, I can't find anything about 'let all friends join', and I don't know where to go to find privacy settings on my xbox account either.

On Xbox and Windows, the ability to join multiplayer games is controlled by Xbox privacy and online safety settings, not by Roblox itself.

To enable joining multiplayer games, adjust the Xbox account’s privacy settings, then use Roblox’s in‑game options for who can join.

    1. Open Xbox privacy & online safety settings
      • On Xbox console:
        1. Go to SettingsGeneralOnline safety & familyPrivacy & online safetyXbox privacy.
        2. Select the profile that is being blocked from multiplayer.
      • On PC (Windows 11):
        1. Go to the Xbox privacy settings page at Privacy & online safety.
    2. Check the multiplayer privilege In the Xbox privacy/online safety settings for the affected account, ensure:
      • You can join multiplayer games is set to Allow.
This privilege corresponds to the Xbox setting that allows joining online multiplayer gameplay sessions with real players.
    3. Check communication/invites settings (if needed) Still in Xbox privacy/online safety:
      • Ensure Others can communicate with voice, text or invites is not set to Block if game invites or in‑game communication are required.
    4. Apply changes and wait for them to propagate
      • After changing the organizer/parent account’s settings for a child account, it can take some time before the changes take effect across services.
    5. Use Roblox’s own privacy options
      • Once the Xbox account allows multiplayer, open Roblox and use its in‑game settings to choose who can join (for example, friends). The exact labels (such as “let all friends join”) are Roblox‑specific, but they will only work if the Xbox multiplayer and communication privileges are allowed as above.

If the account is a child account in a Microsoft family, only the organizer/parent account can change these Xbox privacy and online safety settings.
