How to access language and subtitle feature on a Mac running powerpoint

I have a Mac powerbook M1 Pro running Tahoe 26.5.1 and I have a Microsoft Powerpoint app 16.101.3 and I have a Microsoft 365 account, but languages and subtitles are greyed out, so that I can not acce

    Hi @Hal Wynn,

    Based on your sharing, the most likely reason Languages/Subtitles are greyed out is that your PowerPoint version is probably too old for these features. Refer to the information in Update PowerPoint to maintain Captions - M365 Admin, Microsoft has plan to upgrade the backend captions service in 2026, and user with versions older than 16.103.1207.4 (for MacOS) will lose this feature.
