Lardy Please tell me how to pay the bribe. 's
My think pad kept giving me messages from you. They kept saying buy new PC, as you will not support windows 10 and my Lenovo would not support 11.
I did, it sat on the end of the desk for 7 months.
Until I hit restart and Oh, joy. No support means things like the system refused to recognize Microsoft's own signature on the keyboard driver. That was Not on my Bingo Card...
I'll assume someone didn't mean to screw those of us who just gave you $ for a new Lenovo with Microsoft and Office on it, quite so badly but you have now eaten up two full wonderful days of summer, and I am 61 and those are valuable.

This is not a Lenovo, it's a Microsoft, and Microsoft is keeping me from addressing it in any way I can find and I have spent a lot of hours trying.

I Can't confirm it is Me to sign into Microsoft without a keyboard, YES I tried to use the virtual one. As soon as I type in my pin to get in, that function Totally disappears. Zip for virtual keyboard. Mouse will copy, not paste and if it did, I still can't hit enter to send it.

It will NOT update or download the driver as Microsoft does not recognize the non updated signature of Microsoft. No it will not allow me to roll it back.

Please have Mercy. I have worked on your buildings since the late 90's as a union carpenter, I have worked decades on your events as a union stagehand, I live in the Seattle Suburbs and have rooted for MS the home team since I move to the city in the mid 80's. Today, there are No warm MS fuzzy's.....

I get you wanted us all to help you with AI. But seriously, your job is to keep massive millions of laptops out of the landfill. That recently crippled computer has been hauled to 7 countries as I have saved wages to travel to help move along diversity in labor. Hell, the keyboard alone has been replaced with no issues twice.

I can't be the only human who has had issues with the keyboard update/driver, and without one, I can't get a solution.

Code 52 means Windows cannot verify the digital signature of the keyboard driver, so it blocks the device. In this state, the built‑in keyboard will not work, and normal driver updates or rollbacks may fail.

Because this affects basic input, the most reliable way to recover is to repair or reset Windows so it reinstalls a clean, properly signed keyboard driver from Microsoft.

Use a hardware keyboard temporarily if possible (USB keyboard)

    1. Connect a USB keyboard to the ThinkPad so there is a working keyboard during repair.
    2. Sign in to Windows using that keyboard.

    Run the built‑in Windows troubleshooters

    1. Open Settings → System → Troubleshoot → Other troubleshooters.
    2. Run:
      • Windows Updates
      • Keyboard
    3. Follow any fixes they suggest and restart.

If the issue persists, reset Windows while keeping files This reinstalls Windows system files and drivers (including the Microsoft keyboard driver) while preserving personal files. Apps and settings will be removed.

    1. Open Settings → System → Recovery.
    2. Under “Recovery options,” select Reset this PC.
    3. Choose Keep my files.
    4. Select Cloud download (recommended) or Local reinstall.
    5. Confirm and let the process complete. The PC will restart several times.
    6. After reset, sign in and verify the keyboard works.

If even with a USB keyboard the system is unusable or reset cannot be started, take the PC to a qualified repair technician so they can:

    • Boot into recovery environment.
    • Repair or reinstall Windows 10 Pro 22H2.
    • Confirm the keyboard driver is properly signed and working.

If accessibility assistance is needed (for example, difficulty using temporary hardware or on‑screen keyboards), contact the Microsoft Disability Answer Desk for direct support. They can provide step‑by‑step help and options tailored to accessibility needs.
